Beryl is moving inland over eastern Texas. Life-threatening storm surge and heavy rainfall is ongoing across portions of Texas. Damaging winds ongoing along the coast, with strong winds moving inland. A mesonet station (SRDT2) in San Bernard recently reported a sustained wind of 52 mph (84 km/h) and a gust of 91 mph (146 km/h) A mesonet station (FRPT2) in Freeport recently reported a wind gust of 92 mph (148 km/h).
