DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 500 PM AST (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Bill was located near latitude 41.6 North, longitude 59.6 West. Bill is moving toward the northeast near 36 mph (57 km/h) and this motion is expected to continue until the cyclone dissipates on Wednesday. Maximum sustained winds are near 60 mph (95 km/h) with higher gusts. Some weakening is expected, and Bill is forecast to become a post-tropical low by this evening. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 90 miles (150 km) from the center. The estimated minimum central pressure is 998 mb (29.47 inches). HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND ---------------------- None.
