A TCOON station at Laguna Madre North, near the eastern eyewall of Hanna, recently reported a sustained wind of 68 mph (110 km/h) and a wind gust of 84 mph (135 km/h). Another TCOON observing station at Baffin Bay, Texas, recently reported a sustained wind of 47 mph (76 km/h) and a wind gust of 62 mph (100 km/h). Corpus Christi Naval Air Station recently reported a sustained wind of 50 mph (81 km/h) and a wind gust of 66 mph (106 km/h).
