DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 500 PM HST (0300 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Erick
was located near latitude 19.2 North, longitude 169.1 West. The
post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the west near 12 mph (19
km/h) and this motion is expected to continue over the next 1 to 2
days.

Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts.
The remnant low is expected to dissipate in about 1 to 2 days.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1008 mb (29.77 inches).
