A NOAA weather station on the north end of Folly Island, South Carolina, reported a sustained wind of 51 mph (82 km/h) and a gust of 62 mph (100 km/h) within the past hour. A sustained wind of 41 mph (66 km/h) and a gust of 55 mph (89 km/h) was recently reported at Shutes Folly in Charleston Harbor.
