At 800 PM PDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Otis was
located near latitude 19.4 North, longitude 127.7 West. Otis is
moving toward the west near 5 mph (7 km/h), and a turn to the
west-southwest is anticipated on Tuesday.
Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts.
Weakening is forecast, and Otis is likely to dissipate in a day or
so.
Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 70 miles (110 km)
from the center.
The estimated minimum central pressure is 1005 mb (29.68 inches).
