DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 900 PM MDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Ten-E
was located near latitude 14.6 North, longitude 114.2 West. The
depression is moving toward the west near 8 mph (13 km/h) and this
general motion is expected to continue with some decrease in
forward speed during the next couple of days.

Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts.
Slow strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours, and the
depression is expected to become a tropical storm on Sunday.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
