DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 1000 AM CDT (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Seven-E
was located near latitude 14.1 North, longitude 105.1 West. The
depression is moving toward the west near 6 mph (9 km/h).  A
westward to west-northwestward motion with some increase in forward
speed is expected during the next 48 hours.  On the forecast track,
the cyclone is expected to move away from southern Mexico.

Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts.
Some gradual strengthening is forecast and the depression is
expected to become a tropical storm later today or Tuesday.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb (29.74 inches).
