CHANGES WITH THIS ADVISORY:

The government of Mexico has replaced the Tropical Storm Watch with
a Tropical Storm Warning for the Pacific coast of Mexico from Salina
Cruz to Puerto Escondido.

SUMMARY OF WATCHES AND WARNINGS IN EFFECT:

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for...
* The Pacific coast of Mexico from Salina Cruz to Puerto Escondido

A Tropical Storm Warning means that tropical storm conditions are
expected somewhere within the warning area, in this case within
the next 24 hours.

products issued by your national meteorological service.


DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK
------------------------------
At 1000 PM CDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Two-E
was located near latitude 14.5 North, longitude 97.4 West. The
depression is moving toward the northeast near 6 mph (9 km/h) and
this motion is expected to continue during the next couple of days.
On the forecast track, the center of the depression is expected to
approach the Pacific coast of Mexico on Thursday.

Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts.
Some strengthening is expected, and the depression is forecast
to become a tropical storm before it reaches the coast of Mexico.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1005 mb (29.68 inches).


HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND
----------------------
RAINFALL: The depression is expected to produce total rainfall
accumulations of 8 to 12 inches across the Mexican state of Oaxaca
with isolated maximum totals of 20 inches possible.  This rainfall
is likely to produce life-threatening flash floods and mudslides.

WIND:  Tropical storm conditions are expected to begin within the
warning area by Thursday morning.
