DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 200 PM PDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Roslyn
was located near latitude 21.6 North, longitude 115.2 West. The
depression is moving toward the north near 7 mph (11 km/h).  A turn
toward the northwest is expected tonight and Thursday, and a turn
toward the west-northwest is forecast Thursday night.

Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts.
Weakening is likely, and Roslyn is expected to degenerate to a
remnant low pressure area tonight.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb (29.74 inches).
