DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 800 PM PDT (0300 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Orlene
was located near latitude 20.1 North, longitude 127.7 West. The
post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the west near 9 mph
(15 km/h).  The system should continue moving toward the west at a
faster forward speed during the next two days.

Maximum sustained winds are have decreased to near 35 mph (55 km/h)
with higher gusts.  Some weakening is forecast during the next 48
hours.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
