DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 800 AM PDT (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Frank
was located near latitude 23.7 North, longitude 124.4 West. The
depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 8 mph (13 km/h),
and a gradual turn toward the west and west-southwest is expected
over the next 48 hours.

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 35 mph (55 km/h)
with higher gusts.  Further weakening is forecast during the next
48 hours, and Frank will likely become a remnant low later today.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
