DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 200 AM PDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Frank was
located near latitude 21.1 North, longitude 115.7 West.  Frank is
moving toward the west-northwest near 7 mph (11 km/h), and a
continued west-northwestward motion at a slightly faster forward
speed is expected over the next 48 hours.

Maximum sustained winds are near 60 mph (95 km/h) with higher gusts.
Weakening is forecast, and Frank should become a tropical
depression within the next 48 hours.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 70 miles (110 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 997 mb (29.44 inches).
