DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 200 AM PDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Estelle was
located near latitude 21.5 North, longitude 132.0 West. Estelle is
moving toward the west-northwest near 16 mph (26 km/h), and this
general motion is expected to continue during the next
couple of days.

Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts.
Estelle is forecast to degenerate into a remnant low today.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 80 miles (130 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1005 mb (29.68 inches).
