DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 800 PM PDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Estelle was
located near latitude 19.5 North, longitude 125.5 West. Estelle is
moving toward the west near 14 mph (22 km/h).  The storm is
expected to move generally west-northwestward at a slightly faster
forward speed for the next couple of days.

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 65 mph (100 km/h)
with higher gusts.  Steady weakening is forecast, and Estelle could
become a post-tropical cyclone on Friday.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 140 miles (220 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 993 mb (29.33 inches).
