DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 900 PM MDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Estelle was
located near latitude 16.1 North, longitude 110.4 West.  Estelle is
moving toward the west-northwest near 8 mph (13 km/h) and this
general motion is expected to continue for the next couple of days.

Maximum sustained winds remain near 50 mph (85 km/h) with higher
gusts.  Estelle is forecast to become a hurricane by Monday.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 105 miles (165 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1000 mb (29.53 inches).
