DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 900 PM MDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Darby was
located near latitude 15.4 North, longitude 110.4 West.  Darby
is moving toward the west near 10 mph (17 km/h), and this general
motion, with a slight increase in forward speed, is expected to
continue during the next few days.

Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 65 mph (100 km/h)
with higher gusts.  Additional strengthening is forecast during the
next 48 hours, and Darby is expected to become a hurricane on
Wednesday.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 45 miles (75 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1000 mb (29.53 inches).
