DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 800 PM PDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Two-E
was located near latitude 14.7 North, longitude 116.9 West.  The
depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 9 mph (15 km/h),
and this general motion with a slight increase in forward speed is
expected to continue through Sunday.

Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts.
Some strengthening is forecast, and the depression could become a
tropical storm Saturday or Saturday night.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb (29.74 inches).
