DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK ------------------------------ At 400 PM CDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Marty was located near latitude 16.3 North, longitude 103.0 West. The depression is moving toward the west near 6 mph (9 km/h), and this motion with a slight increase in forward speed is expected over the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts. Marty is expected to become a remnant low tonight or early Thursday. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1005 mb (29.68 inches). HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND ---------------------- RAINFALL: Rains over Mexico are decreasing.
