DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 900 PM MDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression
Fifteen-E was located near latitude 13.1 North, longitude 107.2
West. The depression is moving toward the northwest near 10 mph (17
km/h) and this general motion is expected to continue for the next
couple of days.

Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts.
The depression is forecast to become a tropical storm on Sunday and
could become a hurricane by late Monday.

The estimated minimum central pressure from buoy data is 1001 mb
(29.56 inches).
