DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 300 PM MDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression
Thirteen-E was located near latitude 10.8 North, longitude 113.3
West.  The depression is moving toward the west near 20 mph (31
km/h).  A westward motion with some decrease in forward speed is
expected through Friday.

Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts.
Strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours, and the
depression is expected to become a tropical storm on Thursday.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb (29.74 inches).
