DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 800 AM PDT (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Enrique was
located near latitude 18.1 North, longitude 129.6 West. Enrique is
moving toward the northwest near 9 mph (15 km/h), but a motion
between the northwest and west-northwest is forecast during the next
48 hours.

Maximum sustained winds are near 45 mph (75 km/h) with higher gusts.
Enrique is forecast to begin to weaken on Wednesday.

Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 80 miles (130 km)
to the north and east of the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1002 mb (29.59 inches).
