DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 800 AM PDT (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Enrique was
located near latitude 15.9 North, longitude 126.6 West. Enrique is
moving toward the north-northwest near 10 mph (17 km/h).  The
tropical storm is expected to gradually turn toward the
west-northwest at about the same rate of forward speed by Wednesday.

Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts.
Little change in strength is forecast during the next 48 hours.

Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 70 miles (110 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1001 mb (29.56 inches).
