DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 200 PM PDT (2100 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Andres
was located near latitude 20.1 North, longitude 124.2 West. The
post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the east near 3 mph (6
km/h).  A turn toward the east-southeast and southeast is expected
during the next couple of days.

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 35 mph (55 km/h) with
higher gusts. Further weakening is expected, and the remnant low of
Andres is expected to degenerate into an open trough over the
weekend.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1005 mb (29.68 inches).
