DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 500 PM AST (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Henri was
located near latitude 33.9 North, longitude 60.7 West. Henri is
moving toward the north near 15 mph (24 km/h). This general motion
is expected to continue with an increase in forward speed through
tonight. A faster northeastward motion is predicted on Friday.

Maximum sustained winds remain near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher
gusts. Little change in strength is forecast during the next 48
hours and Henri could become a post-tropical cyclone by Saturday.

Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 140 miles (220 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1008 mb (29.77 inches).
