DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 1100 PM AST (0300 UTC), the center of Hurricane Danny was located
near latitude 13.4 North, longitude 46.6 West.  Danny is moving
toward the west-northwest near 10 mph (17 km/h), and this general
motion is expected to continue through early Saturday.  A turn
toward the west is forecast by Saturday evening.

Maximum sustained winds remain near 80 mph (130 km/h) with higher
gusts.  Some strengthening is possible during the next 24 hours,
but Danny should begin to weaken on Saturday.

Danny remains a tiny hurricane.  Hurricane force winds extend
outward up to 10 miles (20 km) from the center, and tropical storm
force winds extend outward up to 60 miles (95 km).

The estimated minimum central pressure is 990 mb (29.24 inches).
