LIKELY BE DISCONTINUED LATER TODAY.
 
A TROPICAL STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE CENTRAL AND
SOUTHEAST BAHAMAS.
 
A TROPICAL STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR CUBA FOR THE PROVINCES
OF CAMAGUEY...CIEGO DE AVILA...SANTIAGO DE CUBA...AND GRANMA.  THIS
WATCH COULD BE SHIFTED WESTWARD LATER TODAY.

DEBBY WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 19.8 NORTH...LONGITUDE  75.1 WEST
OR JUST SOUTHEAST OF GUANTANAMO BAY CUBA.

DEBBY IS MOVING TOWARD THE WEST NEAR 18 MPH...29 KM/HR...AND THIS
GENERAL MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT 24 HOURS.  ON
THIS TRACK THE CENTER WILL BE MOVING NEAR THE SOUTH COAST OF EASTERN
CUBA TODAY.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR  40 MPH... 65 KM/HR...WITH HIGHER
GUSTS.  FURTHER WEAKENING IS POSSIBLE...AND DEBBY COULD BE
DOWNGRADED TO A TROPICAL DEPRESSION LATER TODAY.

...185 KM FROM THE CENTER...MAINLY TO THE NORTHEAST.
 
THE LATEST MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE REPORTED BY A NOAA HURRICANE
HUNTER IS 1012 MB...29.88 INCHES.
 
STORM SURGE FLOODING OF 1 TO 3 FEET ABOVE NORMAL TIDE LEVELS...WITH
DANGEROUS BATTERING WAVES...IS EXPECTED OVER PORTIONS OF THE WARNING
AREAS.
