MARINE WEATHER HF VOICE BROADCAST FOR THE GULF OF MEXICO

SEAS GIVEN AS SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHT...WHICH IS THE AVERAGE
HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES. INDIVIDUAL WAVES MAY BE
MORE THAN TWICE THE SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHT.

SYNOPSIS FOR THE GULF OF MEXICO

.SYNOPSIS...STRONG WINDS FOLLOW A COLD FRONT REACHING FROM THE
LOWER ATCHAFALAYA RIVER LOUISIANA TO THE MOUTH OF THE RIO
GRANDE. THE FRONT WILL REACH FROM THE FLORIDA BIG BEND REGION TO
THE W BAY OF CAMPECHE LATE TONIGHT...THEN BRIEFLY STALL THROUGH
MIDDAY TUE. STRONG HIGH PRES BUILDING EASTWARD  WAKE OF
THE FRONT WILL PUSH THE FRONT SE OF THE GULF ON WED AND INDUCE
NORTHERLY GALE FORCE WINDS BEHIND THE FRONT LATE TUE THROUGH
EARLY WED. STRONG HIGH PRES WILL ONCE AGAIN BUILD ACROSS THE
GULF WED THROUGH FRI AND SHIFT TO THE EASTERN PORTION SAT
ALLOWING FOR RETURN MODERATE SOUTHERLY FLOW TO SET UP OVER THE
FAR WESTERN GULF.
