SUBJECT:  ATLANTIC AND EASTERN PACIFIC TROPICAL CYCLONE WIND 
          FIELD GRAPHICS BECOME OPERATIONAL: EFFECTIVE MAY 15 
          2009

BASED ON USER FEEDBACK...THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER/S/ 
TROPICAL CYCLONE WIND FIELD GRAPHICS WILL BECOME OPERATIONAL FOR 
THE ATLANTIC AND EASTERN PACIFIC HURRICANE BASINS FOR 2009.

THIS PRODUCT WILL BE PRODUCED WITH EACH FULL ADVISORY PACKAGE 
FOR TROPICAL AND SUBTROPICAL CYCLONES IN THE ATLANTIC AND 
EASTERN PACIFIC HURRICANE BASINS.  THIS GRAPHIC ILLUSTRATES THE 
AREA POTENTIALLY AFFECTED BY TROPICAL CYCLONE SUSTAINED WINDS OF 
VARYING FORCE.  IN ADDITION TO THE WIND FIELD...THIS GRAPHIC 
PROVIDES AN APPROXIMATE REPRESENTATION OF COASTAL AREAS UNDER A 
HURRICANE WARNING...HURRICANE WATCH...TROPICAL STORM 
WARNING...AND TROPICAL STORM WATCH.  

DURING PERIODS OF ACTIVE STORMS THE PRODUCT WILL BE POSTED
