For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

A nearly-stationary area of low pressure located about 1600 miles west-southwest of the southern tip of Baja California is producing a concentrated area of disorganized thunderstorms well away from the low's circulation center. Satellite data indicate that the circulation has become less defined since yesterday, and environmental conditions are expected to continue to become less conducive for development. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent * Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent

An area of disturbed weather has formed several hundred miles south of the coast of Mexico.
