HIGH LEVEL CLOUDS ARE RIDING OVER THE TOP OF THE RIDGE...WITH DEEP LEVEL MOISTURE AND WIDESPREAD RAIN JUST W OF THE AREA. AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH E OF THE RIDGE EXTENDS FROM NW MEXICO THROUGH SOUTHERN BAJA CALIFORNIA TO A CYCLONIC CIRCULATION NEAR 8N109W. UPPER LEVEL DIFFLUENCE IS ENHANCING CONVECTION E OF THE TROUGH FROM 7N-18N BETWEEN 102W-108W.

THE GULF OF PAPAGAYO...SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE IN THE NORTHWESTERN CARIBBEAN SEA WILL SUPPORT 20-25 KT WINDS IN THE GULF OF PAPAGAYO AND 8 FOOT SEA HEIGHTS THROUGH THE NEXT 24 HOURS.

A COLD FRONT NW OF THE DISCUSSION AREA WILL INCREASE SLY WINDS TO 20-25 KT N OF 27N W OF 136W.
