At 800 PM PDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Greg was located near latitude 15.1 North, longitude 121.8 West. Greg is moving toward the west near 14 mph (22 km/h) and this motion is expected to continue through the weekend.

Maximum sustained winds are near 50 mph (85 km/h) with higher gusts. Little change in strength is forecast during the next 48 hours.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 60 miles (95 km) from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1001 mb (29.56 inches).
