AT 500 PM AST...2100 UTC...THE CENTER OF THE REMNANTS OF FAY WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 33.7 NORTH...LONGITUDE 49.9 WEST. THE REMNANTS OF FAY ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE EASTWARD OR EAST-SOUTHEASTWARD DURING THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 50 MPH...85 KM/H...WITH HIGHER GUSTS. SLOW WEAKENING IS EXPECTED DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS.
