ISAAC HAS BEEN DOWNGRADED TO A DEPRESSION BY THE NATIONAL HURRICANE
CENTER. AS A RESULT...THE TROPICAL STORM WARNING HAS BEEN CANCELLED...
BUT A WIND ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF THE AREA. ALSO...THE
RISK FOR HEAVY RAINFALL AND A FEW TORNADOES WILL CONTINUE INTO THE
EVENING HOURS.

TROPICAL CYCLONE WATCHES AND WARNINGS ARE NO LONGER IN EFFECT
ANYWHERE ACROSS CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI...NORTHEAST LOUISIANA...AND
EXTREME SOUTHEAST ARKANSAS. THE ISSUANCE OF TROPICAL CYCLONE
WATCHES AND WARNINGS IS BEING TRANSITIONED OVER TO WATCHES AND
WARNINGS TRADITIONALLY ISSUED FOR NON-TROPICAL CYCLONE EVENTS.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL

NEAR LATITUDE 32.7N...LONGITUDE 92.6W. THIS WAS ABOUT 140 MILES
WEST-NORTHWEST OF JACKSON MS. STORM MOTION WAS NNW OR 335 DEGREES
AT 12 MPH. STORM INTENSITY WAS 35 MPH.

.SITUATION OVERVIEW...
TROPICAL DEPRESSION ISAAC WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE NORTHWEST AND IMPACTS
ASSOCIATED WITH THE SYSTEM WILL GRADUALLY LESSEN AS WE GO THROUGH
TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY.
