TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL

For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

1. An area of low pressure centered about 550 miles south-southwest of
the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula is producing
widespread showers and thunderstorms. Strong upper-level winds are
currently inhibiting the development of this low. However, only a
small decrease in those winds should result in the formation of a
tropical depression during the next day or so.  The system is
forecast to move toward the west-northwest or northwest at about 10
mph.
