For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical
Storm Franklin, located inland over the Yucatan peninsula about 45
miles north of Chetumal, Mexico.

1. A trough of low pressure located about 900 miles east of the Lesser
Antilles continues to produce disorganized cloudiness and showers.
Development of this system is not expected during the next few
days due to unfavorable environmental conditions.  However, some
development of this system is possible by late weekend while the
system moves west-northwestward at about 15 mph over the western
Atlantic.

* Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent.
