000 ABPZ20 KNHC 170553 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 1100 PM PDT Fri Sep 16 2022 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: Active Systems: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Lester, located about 150 miles southeast of Acapulco, Mexico. Southwest of Southwestern Mexico: Showers and thunderstorms associated with a low pressure area located a few hundred miles southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico, are gradually becoming better organized. Environmental conditions are forecast to become more conducive for development, and a tropical depression is likely to form today or tonight. This disturbance is forecast to meander off the southwestern coast of Mexico through the end of this week, and then begin to move generally north-northwestward early next week.
