Environmental conditions are conducive for additional development, and a tropical depression is expected to form within the next day or so while it moves west-northwestward at 5 to 10 mph. Further development of this system will be possible over the weekend while it turns northward toward southern Mexico, and interests there should monitor the progress of this disturbance.
