For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

Disorganized showers and thunderstorms located about 1000 miles 
southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula are 
associated with a tropical wave.  This system is expected to move 
west-northwestward, and some slow development is possible late this 
weekend and early next week before it moves into unfavorable 
environmental conditions.
