For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

A weak area of low pressure is centered about 900 miles south of
the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula.  Little
development is expected during the next couple of days due to
unfavorable upper-level winds.  However, conditions may subsequently
become more conducive as the system moves west-northwestward across
the open eastern Pacific.
