For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical
Storm Fernanda, located several hundred miles south of the southern
tip of the Baja California peninsula, and has issued the last
advisory on Post-Tropical Cyclone Eugene.

A broad area of low pressure is expected to form a few hundred miles
south of Mexico during the weekend.  Gradual development of this
system is possible as it moves slowly toward the west-northwest.
