000 ABPZ20 KNHC 242331 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 500 PM PDT Sat Jun 24 2017 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: Satellite images indicate that the well-defined low pressure system located a couple of hundred miles south-southeast of Acapulco, Mexico, is very close to becoming a tropical depression, and advisories could be initiated later this evening or tonight. The low is expected to move west-northwestward at 10 mph parallel to the coast of Mexico during the next couple of days, bringing heavy rains to the Mexican states of Oaxaca, Guerrero, and Michoacan.
