For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

An area of low pressure is expected to develop several hundred
miles southwest of the southwestern coast of Mexico in a few days.
Environmental conditions should be conducive for some development of
this system by early next week while it moves generally west-
northwestward at 10 to 15 mph.
