000 ABPZ20 KNHC 081141 TWOEP TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 500 AM PDT THU OCT 8 2015 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The Central Pacific Hurricane Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, is issuing advisories on Hurricane Oho, located about 1200 miles northeast of the Hawaiian Islands. Oho is expected to move into the eastern North Pacific basin, probably as a post-tropical cyclone, later today. Shower and thunderstorm activity has changed little in association with a tropical wave located about 1350 miles southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. However, environmental conditions are forecast to be conducive for development, and a tropical depression is likely to form by early next week while the system moves west-northwestward at 15 to 20 mph. * Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...40 percent * Formation chance through 5 days...high...70 percent An area of low pressure is likely to form several hundred miles south of southeastern Mexico late this weekend.
