For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

Showers and thunderstorms continue to show signs of organization in
association with a tropical wave located about 1250 miles southwest
of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula.  Environmental
conditions are forecast to be conducive for development, and a
tropical depression is likely to form by the weekend while the
system moves west-northwestward at about 15 mph.
