For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude:

A large area of disorganized cloudiness and showers extends for
several hundred miles offshore of the coasts of Central America and
southern Mexico.  An area of low pressure is expected to form south
or southwest of the Gulf of Tehuantepec later this week, and a
tropical depression is likely to form by early next week while the
low moves northward or northeastward toward the southern coast of
Mexico.  Interests along the southern coast of Mexico should monitor
the progress of this disturbance over the next several days.
