Development of this disturbance is not expected since upper-level winds are forecast to become unfavorable in a day or so. The low is forecast to drift westward or west-northwestward over the next several days. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent * Formation chance through 5 days...low...10 percent A large area of showers and thunderstorms centered about 1550 miles southwest of the southern tip of Baja California Sur is associated with an elongated area of low pressure.
