A broad area of low pressure associated with a vigorous tropical wave is moving across the central and northern Lesser Antilles, and continues to produce a large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms. This disturbance will continue to produce locally heavy rainfall and gusty winds over portions of the Lesser Antilles today, and should spread over Puerto Rico and Hispaniola during the next day or two. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent * Formation chance through 5 days...low...30 percent && Additional information on this system can be found in High Seas Forecasts issued by the National Weather Service, under AWIPS header NFDHSFAT1, WMO header FZNT01 KWBC, and available on the Web at http://www.opc.ncep.noaa.gov/shtml/NFDHSFAT1.shtml. $$ Forecaster Stewart
