For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

An area of low pressure is expected to form to the north of
Hispaniola in a couple of days.  This system could briefly acquire
subtropical characteristics before it moves northward and then
northeastward, and merges with a frontal system toward the end of
the week.
