DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 800 PM PDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Dalila was located near latitude 21.4 North, longitude 119.8 West. The depression is moving toward the northwest near 7 mph (11 km/h). A turn toward the west-northwest is forecast to occur on Thursday, and that general motion should continue until the system dissipates in a few days. Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts. Weakening is forecast during the next couple of days, and Dalila is expected to become a post-tropical remnant low on Thursday.
